New York Comic Con 2012

Yesterday I attended New York Comic Con!  For a more comprehensive review of Friday’s events, including the authors who were there, check out the recaps posted by The Qwillery and The Ranting Dragon.  Here are some of my highlights:

Exterminate!

Friday is supposedly “the slow day.”

The “Passion, Power, and Paranormals!” panel featured authors (from left to right) Tonya Hurley, Kalayna Price, Tahereh Mafi, Margaret Stohl, Dan Krokos…

…Alexandra Bracken, and Keri Arthur. Maureen Johnson also made a brief appearance, but left before the start of the panel.

Guess who crashed Sean Astin’s Q&A panel? Terry Pratchett!

To top it all off, I managed to snag a free, signed copy of G.T. Almasi’s Blades of Winterwhich I’ve been dying to read.  Overall, it was an exciting day.  Anyone else go to NYCC?
